Congratulations to Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, nominated
recently for the 45th annual Grammy Awards. Garth and Trisha
were nominated in the category for "Best Country Collaboration
with Vocals", for their duet "Squeeze me In",
a cover of a tune written by Delbert Mcclinton and George
Hawkins, appearing on Delbert's 2001 album Nothing Personal.
Garth and Trisha have achieved Grammy success before. In
1997 they took home the Country Collaboration for their duet
" In Another Eyes". That grammy was Garth Brooks'
2nd Grammy. He previously won in 1991 for "Best Male
Country vocal performance" for his "Ropin the Wind"
CD. The Grammy was Trisha Yearwood's 3rd, having won that
same year for favorite female country performance, and in
1994 for her Vocal collaboration with Aaron Neville.
The Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS TV on February
23rd live from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
